How we run it

Every phase ships something usable on its own, so you are never holding a half-finished system waiting on the next milestone.

  1. Capture where the work happens

    Anything re-keyed in the site office at six o'clock is already wrong. Capture happens at the point of work or it does not happen.

  2. Structure the survey

    Free-text notes cannot be compared across sites or inspectors. Structured capture is what makes an estate's data worth holding.

  3. Assume gloves and no signal

    The interface is judged in the conditions it will be used in, which are wet, bright, one-handed and offline.

  4. Photograph the disputed thing

    Image capture is attached at attribute level rather than to the visit, because that is what settles a disagreement months later.
