Engineers who work like part of your team.
iLeaf embeds dedicated engineering pods into your organisation: your repository, your process, your standups. Teams stay with a product long enough to know it properly — the reason so many of the 500+ products we have shipped are still ours to maintain. Coverage spans UK, US and EU working hours from three delivery locations.
Ask Lia about dedicated teamsWhat this includes
- Embedded pods
- A standing team with a lead, working inside your process and tools rather than reporting across a contract boundary.
- Role coverage
- Backend, frontend, mobile, data, AI, QA and DevOps — drawn from the same 80+ engineers, so a gap is filled without a hiring cycle.
- Timezone overlap
- Kochi, Austin and Stockton-on-Tees give real overlap with UK, US and EU hours instead of a daily handover note.
- Continuity
- Low rotation by design. The cost of a team is mostly the context it holds, and replacing people destroys that.
- Your standards
- Your review process, your definition of done, your CI. We adapt to how you work rather than importing a methodology.
- Scale in both directions
- Add specialists for a phase and release them afterwards, without renegotiating the whole engagement.
How we run it
Every phase ships something usable on its own, so you are never holding a half-finished system waiting on the next milestone.
Match on the actual problem
We staff against the work in front of you, not a generic seniority grid. You interview the people who would join.
Land inside your process
The pod adopts your tooling and rituals in the first weeks, so there is no parallel process to reconcile later.
Ship early to build trust
Something small goes to production quickly, so both sides learn how the other works while the stakes are low.
Review the team, not just the tickets
Regular checkpoints on whether the shape of the pod still fits the roadmap, and honest advice when it does not.

Questions we get asked
How is this different from hiring contractors?
A pod is a standing team with a lead, shared standards and continuity of context, backed by 80+ engineers to draw on when you need a specialism for a phase. Individual contractors give you hands; a pod gives you a team that already knows how to work together.
Do we manage the team day to day?
As much or as little as you want. Most clients set direction and priorities while our lead handles delivery mechanics and quality. If you prefer to run the team directly inside your own process, that works too — it is your call, agreed at the start.
What about timezone overlap?
We deliver from Kochi, Austin and Stockton-on-Tees, which gives genuine working-hours overlap with the UK, US and EU. Teams are staffed for the overlap your process actually needs, rather than leaving you a handover note each morning.
