Fifteen years of building things that had to keep working.
iLeaf Solutions was founded in 2011 in Kochi, India. We design, build and run enterprise software — web, mobile, cloud and data — for clients across the US, UK, EU, Middle East and Oceania. Today we add production AI to those same systems, usually the ones we wrote ourselves.

What we actually think
Not values on a wall. Each of these has cost us revenue at least once, which is the only test of whether a position is real.
- We will talk you out of it
- We once assessed a client's AI requirement, proved conventional engineering solved it, and saved them ₹12 lakh. Recommending the cheaper answer loses us revenue in the short term and wins the relationship that pays for fifteen years.
- Shipping is the start, not the finish
- Over 200 of the products we built are still in production and still maintained by us. That changes how you build — you stop optimising for the launch date and start optimising for the fifth year.
- Governance before capability
- Most enterprise AI stalls because nobody can answer what happens when it is wrong. We answer that first. Agents escalate rather than guess, and every action is recorded with the reasoning behind it.
- Your data stays yours
- Never used to train public models, private by default. Where a client needs it, we have run an entire AI stack — models included — on their own on-premise GPUs with nothing leaving the building.
How we got here
2011–2016
Mobile, when mobile was the whole question
iLeaf started building iOS and Android products for clients in the US, UK and Europe. The apps from this period taught us offline-first sync, store operations and the cost of maintaining software you will still own in a decade.
2016–2021
Platforms, cloud and things that had to stay up
The work moved from single apps to platforms — publishing systems for BMJ, digital lending across African markets with Letshego, the connected-home platform behind Roost, and the corporate giving platform behind YourCause, which Blackbaud later acquired for $157M.
2021–2024
Data, then models
Predictive work on live operations, and the realisation that AI projects fail on data long before they fail on models. We built the pipelines and retrieval foundations first, which is still the order we work in.
2024–now
A dedicated AI division
iLeaf.ai was established as a wing built only for AI, not a service bolted onto the side. Its flagship is Adaptive: making applications we already maintain agentic, without a rebuild.
