The Challenge

The Closed Loop Network needed a scalable and robust solution to enable seamless access to textbooks and educational videos for students of various grades. They sought a technology partner who could design and develop a Native Android Mobile application, a Device Management Portal, and the necessary APIs. The challenges included ensuring system-level device lock, managing network settings, detecting SIM changes, and controlling access to files and updates.The main challenges are:

• Provided tablets for students are dedicated devices that are fully managed devices for educational purposes and the system runs in an immersive, kiosk-like fashion where devices are locked to an allowed listed set of apps using lock task mode
• To provide Integration of chat in group chat including students and teachers.
• To make MCQ tests for students based on their grades and subjects
• Integrate big blue button - a virtual classroom software program designed for online education.
• When the system runs in lock task mode, device users typically can’t see notifications, access non-allowlisted apps, or return to the home screen (unless the home screen is allowlisted).
• Build a system to prevent misuse - dedicated devices are fully managed and owned by an admin from the admin panel.
