Modernization · Enterprise

Modernise the systems you cannot switch off.

Enterprise operations run on systems with years of undocumented behaviour that the business quietly depends on. iLeaf modernises them behind a stable interface, route by route, with every phase reversible and the old path kept warm — so there is never a weekend where the business is betting on one cutover.

What this looks like in enterprise

Incremental replacement
New functionality fronts the legacy system and takes over gradually, without a single high-risk switch.
Platform and runtime upgrades
Framework and language moves done behind a stable interface, with a tested path back.
Data migration with reconciliation
Schema evolution and backfill you can prove lost nothing, at every step.
AI retrofit afterwards
Once stable, existing APIs become skills an agent can call — no second rebuild required.

Questions we get asked

Should we not just rewrite it?

Almost never. A rewrite means maintaining two systems while the new one relearns years of edge cases, and most stall halfway with nothing shipped. Incremental replacement delivers value earlier and can be stopped at any point without leaving you stranded.

What if nobody understands the current system?

That is the normal starting position. The first phase is a read-only assessment that documents what the system actually does — including behaviour nobody wrote down — and produces the order we would change things in, before anything is touched.
