What is Contract intelligence?
Contract intelligence is the use of AI to extract and reason over the terms, obligations and relationships inside contracts, with each answer traceable to its source clause.
Also called: CLM AI, contract analytics
In more detail
Beyond storing documents, it identifies parties, dates, liabilities and renewal windows, tracks which amendment currently governs, and answers questions across a portfolio — citing the clause each answer rests on.
Why it matters
Obligations that lapse unnoticed and renewal dates discovered late are direct financial loss, and in a dispute an unsourced answer is worthless. Traceability is the requirement, not a nicety.
How iLeaf approaches it
iLeaf builds contract intelligence on Graph-RAG so amendment chains can be traversed rather than guessed, integrates with the CLM system already in place, and requires every answer to cite a clause or decline.
